National Deaf Hotline Services (24/7)
DAWN serves the Deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, and deafdisabled communities in the Washington D.C. and Maryland regions. If you are seeking services outside of these areas, please refer to the contact list below for additional resources.
As of 2025, there are approximately 22 “for Deaf, by Deaf” programs across the United States dedicated to supporting Deaf survivors of domestic and sexual violence. These specialized programs provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services to meet the unique needs of Deaf individuals.
If you don’t see your state listed here, you can try reaching out to National Deaf Hotline Services, which is available 24/7 to offer assistance and connect you with resources regardless of your location.
